Last Saturday the Boy’s Basketball team took on the Valparaiso Vikings at home. The Vikings won last years game 58-40. Valpo started out the season 10-1 before coming to the Palace.

The Kingsmen were down 17 in the middle of the first half, but the game wasn’t over yet. Senior Brian Doslak led the charge in the second half scoring a career high 20 points.

In the final two minutes Matt Mccown had a rebound bucket too put the team up 47-46. After a steal from sophomore Drew Schneider, Brian Doslak went to the line and sank both free throws after getting fouled. Valpo came down and scored a bucket to keep the game at 49-48. After a crucial Kingsmen turnover the Vikings had the ball with 7.4 seconds left on the clock. As the ball was in bounded Brian Doslak came from behind to steal the ball to secure a Penn win.

The Boy’s are now 5-6 on the season and play @ home tonight against Northridge. Come out and support your Kingsmen.
