Last week the Kingsmen defeated Crown Point to capture their fourth straight Regional Championship. The final score was 23-0. The Wild Bunch defense got a huge lift from Paul Moala who had two interceptions and one for a touchdown.

This week the Kingsmen will take on the Carmel Greyhounds(8-4) @ Carmel. This is the fourth year straight that these two teams have met in semi-state. Carmel is 2-1 in the last three meetings but the Kingsmen won 16-10 in last years matchup.

The Kingsmen are currently 12-0 and will look to claim a spot in the state championship for the second straight year. Carmel on the other hand has lost games to Center Grove, Hamilton Southeastern, Warren Central, and Lawrence North. These are some of Indianapolis’s biggest powerhouses.

Senior Linebacker Parker Adkins talked about the rivalry ” Carmel is always a good team and were always excited to play them because of the two teams history”.  DE Connor Schneider said “We have been thinking about this game for a while now and were excited for a chance to get back to state”.

Tickets are on sale for $10. Come out and support your Kingsmen.
