The Penn Softball team is determined to win a State Championship.

Over the past couple of years, the Kingsmen have been strong in the past two year the Kingsmen have won 54 games and lost just 7.

The Kingsmen have been stacked with talent, last season over half of the starting line up were Division 1 players. Even with departures of Halle Hixenbaugh to Boston College and Addie Pixley to Valparaiso University, Penn is still loaded.

Katie Quinlan, Dainelle Watson, and Maddy Newman are 3 seniors that will play at the Division 1 level next fall. Quinlan will play for Michigan State University and Newman and  Watson will play for Louisville.

Watson is the top pitcher in the state, and her performance this season has backed it up. Watson continues to glide through the NIC.

The Kingsmen are ranked No.1 in the state and No.23 in the nation. Penn will look to ride their wave of momentum into the state tourney, with their first sectional game tomorrow night at 7:00 PM at home.
