Penn High School varsity girls soccer battled at the Marian Knights on August 29th. at 7 p.m. winning 1-0.
After a thrilling first 20 minutes, the Lady Kingsmen struck the only goal when junior, winger Anika Guenther scored off a pass from freshman, Maddy Johnson.
Junior goalkeeper, Gwen Eiler kept the clean sheet with 10 saves and two “sweeper keeper” style saves to give the Lady Kingsmen the win.
