As the days get hotter and the school year nears its end, Mr. Bowers was named PHM’s 2022-2023 teacher of the year. Mr. Bowers teaches AP U.S. History and AP European History, and coaches the tennis team. A fan favorite for many of his students and players, many people are happy that he has received this award.
One student, Andrew Carles-Hilger, stated that “I think Mr. Bowers deserves to be teacher of the year because he is really engaged with his students, and personally he has been there for me through all of high school.”
When asked who he would like to thank, Mr. Bowers name dropped “Mr. McNulty,” and also said “there’s been a lot of people who have helped me along the way, and a lot of other deserving teachers out there.”
Congratulations again Mr. Bowers, and congratulations to all teachers who have made this year a great one for all of their students. Thank you for all that you do!
