Penn Boys Basketball Head Coach Al Rhodes has been in the coaching seat for 17 years. He had 599 career wins until the game against Washington, in which they won 71-56. The Kingsmen’s 16-point victory gave Coach Rhodes not only, a 6-0 Record on the season, but it also gave him his 600th career coaching victory.


There was a ceremony held on December 15th. The Game against South Bend Washington was held on December 13th.


Penn’s peak of the game came when they scored 25 points in the 2nd Quarter of the match-up.

In an interview with Coach Rhodes, he stated, “I love Indiana high school basketball. I love being part of it, so to be the 14th person, the 14th coach to achieve 600 wins, means a lot to me.”

The Kingsmen’s next game will be on Friday, January 19th, against South Bend Saint Joseph.
