Kayla Peterson and a group of Penn students have brought the wizarding world of Harry Potter to Penn High School. During their meeting on January 17, the members of Dumbledore’s Army talked about their future plans for their club.

They shared ideas for events and activities that could be done during their meetings. They include wand making, potion brewing, learning spells, and various other Harry Potter related activities.

Dumbledore's Army

“I came up with Dumbledore’s Army on the premise of having a space to have fun with people on similar interests, to talk about Harry Potter related things, we have different themes for each meeting, different things we will be discussing, creating, etc.” Says Miss. Peterson, the founder of Penn’s Dumbledore’s Army.

This club is for fans who would like to delve into the universe of Harry Potter beyond just discussion of the plot and characters and creates a highly interactive version of the Harry Potter world at Penn High School.

Furthermore, Dumbledore’s Army provides a fun and interesting out of school experience, a way to spice up your regular Penn High School life.

A lot of interpretation can be found in the Harry Potter universe, so if you are interested in applying your knowledge and sharing your ideas of the Harry Potter world, or if you just feel like bringing a part of the universe into your own high school experience, you are still able to sign up for Dumbledore’s Army.
