The Penn Robotics Team 135 competed in the World Championships this past weekend from April 27th to the 30th.

36 students represented Penn High School and Penn’s robotics team in the competition. The team finished in the top 8 in their division and were finalists for an award called the Engineering Inspiration Award. This award is given to the team that celebrates engineering in their community and on their team. In the past, the team has competed 19 total years and has qualified for the national competition 17 times. In the words of Mr. Langfeldt, Penn’s IED instructor, “This is probably the closest they have gotten to claiming a world title.”
