The Penn Robotics Team 135 has had a very successful season!

Before the team started their competition, there was much work to be done: design and build their robot, Rosie, get sponsorship’s, do community outreach, just to name a few.

After their many long hours of work and outreach, it was finally time to go to their first competition of the season, the District level in Kokomo. From that competition, the team brought back a competition win, and the Chairman’s Award, the highest award a team can win from FIRST Robotics Challenge.

After their first win, they were only itching for more. At the state level, they won the Chairman’s Award, making Team 135 eligible for the World’s Competition in St. Louis, Missouri.

The World’s Competition had the team excited. Mr. Langfeldt, one of the team’s adult leaders, told us that he was thrilled to meet a team that traveled all the way from China!

Finally, after winning the second seed in their division at World’s, the team’s competition season was over, but there is still more to come.
