After losing 5-0 to St Joe on April 28th, the team knew they needed to step up. Since then they are on a 3 match win streak and look to extend it this weekend. 

On may 2nd, the ladies made a statement win against Northridge winning 5-0. Tayla Brown won in 3 sets,DSC_1741 Emma Baker won in 2 sets, and Morgan Ludwig won in 2 sets. Both doubles teams won against the Raiders. The team of Emma Moon and Amanda Ahmed beat Northridge’s Sarah Konkey and Alicia Porile in 2 sets, and the other team of Morgan Ludwig and Johanna Stochitoiu won in 2 sets as well.

The next match would take place against South Bend Adams and would result in another win with the score being 3-2. Winner for singles was Emma Baker beating Adam’s Cassie Copeland in 3 sets. Both doubles team of Emma Moon and Amanda Ahmed won in 2 sets and the other doubles team of MDSC_1738organ Ludwig and Johanna Stochitoiu won in 2 sets.

Last night, Penn faced Elkhart Memorial and won 3-2. Morgan Ludwig got the win in her singles match against Maddy Borger in 2 sets. Amanda Ahmed and Emma Moon beat the team of Layla Jojo and Maggie Dickerson. The other Lady Kingsmen double team that earned the win in 3 sets was Alyia Bralick and Alexis Snelson.

The ladies will next travel to Culver Military to face Culver, Munster, and Fairfield on Saturday.
